I spy with my little eye...
Look who I found in the newspaper today...
What were they doing? Where were they?

It's the holidays!
How are your holidays going?
This week I have been looking at what we are going to be doing for topic next term. I am REALLY excited about what we are going to be doing. We are going to be learning lots of things together through technology. I am learning lots of new words and trying to understand what they mean. I am sure you will be able to help me learn about these things just as much as I help you.
Here is my first big phrase... Technological outcomes.
I looked up the dictionary -
technological - of or related to technology; relating to science and industry.
outcome - a final product or end result;
Any ideas on what this means and can you give us an example of what a technological outcome would be at your place?
Tell us about your holidays so far.

Cinderella
Kea group did their first performance of Cinderella today.
What did you think of their performance? What did they do well? What could they do better next time?

Cooking with the crusaders
Madeleine had to make some food. I won and my prize was to cook with the crusaders.
The crusader in my team was Cody Taylor. We made spaghetti bolognese with meatballs. I helped mash up the flour and eggs to make the pasta. We put it into a big ball and we wrapped it up in glad wrap and put it in the fridge for a few minutes. When it came out we cut it and then put it through a spaghetti maker machine.
My team WON! I won a goody bag, a cook book and a crusader sword.
I was excited when the crusaders came in. I was a little bit shy.
