On Tuesday the tree in front of Room 14 got cut down.
We watched them cut the branches off into little logs of wood. Then it was time for the tree to be cut down. They cut it from the bottom with a chainsaw.It was like an elephant stomping. We all felt it smash to the ground. They cut it down because its getting old and tall. It was as tall as a giraffes neck.
It was scary when it was about to fall because we thought it was going to fall on us.

I love the title of your story! You have used a very good simile in your story. I thought it looked like a giraffes neck too.
